The Legendary Red-Nose

Life Day Tales: The Legendary Red-Nose

Agate woke up to the chirping of birds, a beautiful morning heralding the end of the week. The Holidays were upon her, and she had plans in mind. Venturing into the dining room, she found a tidy space adorned with cream-colored walls festooned with holiday ornaments. Native Naboo creature sculptures in vibrant green, red, and golden hues adorned the room. Her mother, Beryl Gua'lara, had prepared a special Naboo seafood breakfast, spiced to perfection and dripping with delicious sauce.

"What's on your agenda today, my dear?" inquired Beryl.

"I plan to take Andrea to the hill in the morning," replied Agate.

"Make sure to give Andrea some special treats for the Holidays," advised Beryl, a smile gracing her face.

Andrea, Agate's favorite Guarlara, stood tall in the stable. A massive male with prominent horns adorning his head, Andrea's gentle and calm demeanor endeared him to Agate, making him her cherished companion.

After breakfast, Agate made her way to the stable and was surprised to find her younger sisters, Kunzite and Iolite, attempting to attach a small red ball to Andrea's nose. While Andrea didn't seem to mind, it seemed a rather amusing sight.

"What are you two up to?" inquired Agate.

"We thought it'd be fun to make Andrea look like the Legendary Red-Nose for the Holidays Festival. He already has those magnificent horns," explained Kunzite.

The Legendary Red-Nose was an imaginary figure known for delivering Holiday gifts across the galaxy, depicted as a white Tauntaun with a shiny red nose and a pair of horns—a favorite among children during the Holidays.

"That's creative! But it might be tricky to keep the ball on his nose. How about attaching it to the bridle instead? Or maybe use red glitter face paint?" suggested Agate.

"Great ideas!" exclaimed Kunzite.

"Sorry to interrupt, but I need to take Andrea for a morning walk," Agate added.

Her sisters agreed and headed back to the house. Agate approached Andrea, stroking his forehead gently.

"So, they want you to be the Red-Nose, huh?"

Andrea snorted and nodded, seemingly in agreement.

"Here, I brought something for you." Agate offered Andrea a delicious Naboo fruit, and he joyously savored the treat.

Agate had a special ability to communicate with creatures, allowing her to ride Andrea without a saddle or bridle. However, she still trained him with equipment for others who didn't share her unique gift.

Agate mounted Andrea, and they embarked on their morning stroll. Starting with a gentle trot, they gradually progressed to a canter before bursting into a gallop. Andrea's excitement was palpable as they raced across the vast meadow. Agate imagined the Legendary Red-Nose, galloping through the galaxy, delivering Holiday gifts at breakneck speed.

They eventually reached a hilltop, gazing upon Theed City in the distance. The scenic vista of the city and its surrounding waterfalls captivated them. Savoring the moment, Agate picked some flowers for her sisters before they headed back home, content and happy.
